About the Artist
Hi Everyone! My name is Shannon Patty and I’m a watercolor artist located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I love the city that I live in, and am proud to have a small part in the local scene that makes this city so amazing. I focus on creating original paintings customized to each of you and work with you to create the perfect piece. My commission orders range from home portraits, wedding bouquets, landscapes, wedding venues, and I now offer Live Wedding Paintings.
I’m a graduate from the University of Cincinnati College of Business, and am extremely grateful to now create art full time in my studio at home.
My Background
I’ve been painting my whole life, and began studying it more seriously throughout high school. Instead of going to college to study art, I decided to go to business school and received my degree in marketing. Even though my life took a different direction, I always knew painting would be back in my life somehow. Finally in the fall of 2020, I posted my first custom home painting and officially launched my business. I’m indescribably thrilled to be painting for you all, and enjoy working with you and learning from you everyday.
My family would say that I got my talents from my grandfather, and I completely agree. He retired from the Marines and began selling paintings for a living, becoming a renowned oil/oil pastel artist across the country. I’ve always admired him for that and am striving for his level of detail and hard work for the remainder of my life.
When I’m not painting you can catch me on a run with my dog Ryder and my Husband Ryan, or snuggling up on the couch with them.
